About Salacya
The story
Salacya is founded by 6 students during a project for fontys. During this challenging project we got the idea to make a salt battery to challenge the overuse of the grid and the sooner or later payments for unused energy.
Our vision
The future of home batteries should be smarter, more efficient and kinder to our planet.

At Salacya, we’re not just tackling rising gas prices and future fees on excess solar energy. We’re also working to reduce the dependence on lithium batteries. Lithium mining is often linked to poor working conditions and child labor. By using less lithium in the future, we aim to help reduce the demand that fuels these harmful practices.
